As a nurse I am dedicated to the service to humanity. I am keen to serve to the best of my ability and sit in decision and policy making positions within a board. I am confident of the values and perspectives nurses on board bring to improve quality of care (Sundean, Polifroni, Libal, & McGrath, 2018) . I am passionate about providing efficacious care for cardio metabolic diseases specifically hypertension and the great effect that lifestyle modifications can have on the prevalence of this condition. My desire is to one-day sit in the board of ‘Go red for Women’. This is an American Heart Association Movement that seeks to reduce the number of women suffering from stroke in the world (Mosca, Ouyang, Hubel, Reynolds, & Allison, 2017) .
Through the right preparation and mentorship, I intend to increase my ability to offer value to organizations in order improve the versatility and efficiency of leadership. I currently serve in the local community members club as a volunteer health consultant. Also, I am actively involved in the local professional’s body of registered nurses. I run a not-for-profit organization that promotes healthy lifestyles as an alternative therapy towards prevention of hepatitis. In the last three years, my organization has strategically partnered with Go Red for Women in their town hall dinners in our state. This has given me a chance to get to know key persons and their various engagements with women health.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
I was recently given the privilege of being part of the organizing committee for the next luncheon in our state where a key celebrity in American pop music will grace the event. I intend to give the event my best, continue to build my networks and reputation even as I further my education in leadership and management.
My passion in heart health concurs with what Go Red For Women Advocates for. As a leader I am strong in my planning and execution skills, an endeavor that my colleagues have applaud me for in the recent past. My greatest shortcoming is on my poor empathetic skill, which has resulted in me hurting several people on my path to developing leadership competence. Therefore, it is imperative that I become more considerate about the struggles of other people.
