Canada, similar to all other developed countries, is facing an aging population; this has created a new social paradigm that needs addressing. With aging, arises new realities influenced by the current social and economic context, among other considerations. The data will be processed, identifying social structures, life-shaping events, and relevant sociological concepts. The research is designed to offer a better understanding of how life history from a sociological perspective is informative (Coleman & O'Hanlon, 2017). It is critical to appreciate the notion that aging and life are two distinct terms but complement each other.
