Majority of the society members acquire their earnings from work. Work is a form of social security in the community. Unemployment is a threat to the livelihood of the jobless person. The upper-class persons perceive that lower-class people have no skills or are unwilling to work. The wealthy people prefer to hire middle-class employees whom they believe are productive and goal-oriented. Low-class individuals get limited opportunities in the society (Boland, Griffin, & Manchester University Press, 2015) . Exclusion and low-class status increase unemployment levels in the community.
In conclusion, unemployment is a major concern in society. Low education levels, gender differences, exclusion, and poverty increase the unemployment levels in society. Society leaders need to reduce the unemployment rates for economic development. The community leaders should ensure that education facilities offer similar services to increase literacy levels. Leaders should establish laws to facilitate women acquire the position in companies and pursue any career. The community can distribute wealthy equally to reduce social exclusion and class differences.
