Research question
How does sleep affect people’s lives?
What is the null hypothesis for your question?
Sleep does not affect people’s lives.
What research design would align with this question?
My research entails study of behavior and its effects. I would set up a control experiment and then compare the results.
What dependent variable was used and how is it measured?
The dependent variable is people’s lives. It is measured in terms of daily performance.
What independent variable is used and how is it measured?
The independent variable is sleep. It is measured by the number of hours slept.
If you found significance, what is the strength of the effect?
There is a strong correlation between the number of hours slept and people’s daily performance.
Explain your results for a lay audience and further explain what the answer is to your research question.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
The questionnaire above was seeking to establish the relationship between the number of hours slept by a person and their work performance. It was established that people who slept for more hours had a better work performance than those who slept or less hours.
