The coverage of the question was extensive and, therefore, has expanded my mind further on various matters. Further, my ability to understand and argue complex concepts has also improved substantially. Throughout the course, I also realized that I was particularly weak in Oncology and Pharmacology chapter. There are various sub-topics in those chapters that were a bit hectic for me. However, through the various discussions I held, I realized that I was always improving after every session that was held. I also dedicated much more time to those areas to ensure that I could catch up with the rest of the class members. I undertook a personal responsibility that required me to cover more on my own to improve my understanding of the chapters. My desire to improve was encouraged by the fact that the chapters are very vital in nursing. Therefore, missing out on some concepts related to those chapters will imply I would have missed an essential part in line with my profession as a nurse.
The rationale used throughout the course was helpful. It involved a lot of engaging activities that all were aimed at improving our knowledge on the course and the whole profession in general. In a way, the apply-SATA questions system helped in building on my critical thinking skills as I handled the various questions across different concepts. This is recommendable because its main aim is to expand the thinking of students and make them on par with everyone else. The course also helped in ensuring that our decision-making skills were highly improved.
