Climate change is the significant change in the expected variation of the weather patterns over a long period in a region that results from a buildup of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. Climate change manifests as global warming, rise in sea levels, mountain glaciers, the shift of plant blooming, and significant weather events. With this, I disagree with Nersesian because many of the impacts are as a result of humankind activities such as the increasing use of fossil fuels, industrialization and use of chemicals for production.
Carbon-dioxide might not be the only reason for global warming but plays a significant role in the shift in the weather patterns. It is true that climate change has been around since the beginning of the world, but it is a result of the activities that humans engage. The impacts might not have been felt in the past due to low use of machines and the population of people in those ages. The increase in the number of people, increase the demand for fuel need and production which increase the emissions of gases to the atmosphere.

The observation that fossil fuel is a finite resource is agreeable but misleading due to the lack of evidence to determine the finite state of fossil fuel. This notion, on the contrary, is a misleading concept that can deter the planning and decision making for the environmentalist on how to reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere (Hööka & Tangb, 2013) . On the contrary, the alternative source of energy should be embraced other than the continued use of fossil fuel while waiting for its depletion.
Nersesian focuses on a single aspect of climate change which is global warming attributed by other factors where humankind plays an important role (Nersesian, 2016) . Besides humankind dense of fossil fuel, deforestation is a human activity that hinders the atmosphere from purifying itself from the excess carbon dioxide. Extreme farming uses chemicals that increases the emission of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Increase in population is equivalent to an increase in waste production, and landfills have high emissions that contribute to global warming. In all the listed operations, there is an increase in fossil fuel burning.
In conclusion, fossil fuel burning advanced in the 20 th – 21 st century where practically all activities entailed the use of machines. The rate of industrialization in this century marked an increase in the emission as compared to the past decades. Methane might cause temperature increase impact, but the concentration of carbon dioxide draws more concern compared to other greenhouse gases. I disagree with the writing of Nersesian because despite stating that the carbon dioxide increase raises with global temperatures is not a validating argument, no alternative explanation to it is given. Fossil fuel burning should be observed from a different perspective
