It seeks to identify how professional a nurse is, and helps them deal with the numerous challenges they might come across in their field of work. 

How Clinical Judgment is Used in Healthcare Initiatives in the Practice Setting 

Clinical judgment is used in healthcare initiatives to improve a patient's condition (Saad, 2019). For instance, an expectant patient who never wants to undergo any ante-natal as advised by the doctor to learn about pregnancy. The nurse observes such a patient and makes a conclusion that she can have difficulty during delivery. The nurse is required to advocate for the need for ante-natal clinic attendance. Also, apart from solving problems, the process is used in healthcare initiatives to provide an extensive range of possibilities where a nurse never runs out of choice in the critical instances of their profession.

The Health Care Initiative Designed to Improve Patient Populations 

Delivery of safety-net providers. It helps improve the patient's number by organizing and delivering professional health care services to the less fortunate who cannot afford insurance facilities to pay their medical bills (Saad, 2019). It is made up of community health centers, public hospital systems, and academic health facilities, which are funded by the government. 

How a DNP Prepared Nurse is a Catalyst for Change in the Clinical Practice 

A DNP prepared nurse is a professional. They hold the topmost level in the nursing practice and will be able to implement sound strategies that will intensify the service in the facility (Huber et al, 2018). Also, being highly educated means that they make perfect team leaders, therefore, guiding the other nurses in making the best decisions for the population. they are equipped with evidence to create initiates and advocate for healthy practices. 

The Role of Clinical Judgement in This Initiative 

Clinical judgment observed the challenges the population was undergoing because they were not able to afford healthcare. The process identified the possible solutions and a conclusion was made. Delivery of Safety-net providers. It can be proved from the accessible healthcare facilities to the patients at no extra cost. 

Patient and Population Health Outcome 

It profoundly improved because they can access the best healthcare. Furthermore, having a DNP prepared nurse means that the health facilities have the best services; therefore, a population that is taken good care of and a health care system that is advanced. Even the less fortunate patients are able to access healthcare services, increasing the overall health status. 

Conclusion 

Every nurse should be able to practice clinical judgment in the line of their career. It is essential because it shows a level of professionalism, and also, it is problem-solving. Making such critical decisions can not only save lives but open up possibilities in the nursing world.
