Collaboration in healthcare mainly involves t he collective decision-making through shared governance, often involving several staff members within an entity. The decision made is due to the members or teams and not to a single individual. Collective decision-making is crucial to help the organization achieve the objectives and priorities set. Members usually have thoughts c e ntered on their various viewpoints, which are relevant if the decision-making process is to have diverse perspectives ( Bstieler & Hemmert , 2015) . It will lead to better management when it comes to providing quality health care services. The presence of an organization's leaders will also enhance the mechanism of coordination, which will boost the working experience and job satisfaction. I had the chance to attend a committee meeting at the Health Centre. It provided an opportunity to monitor interactions among committee members and how they reached consensus on individual decisions.

The Function of the Committee and the Roles of Those in Attendance

During the meeting, the members of the committee had diverse roles to play. The setting of the conference included participants facing each other across the table to tackle significant healthcare problems, which can not be determined by a single person. It consists of resolving any issues that occur in the various departments represented at the meeting, as well as other critical issues that include improving the environment of the healthcare facility, which is essential for the delivery of healthcare facilities because it determines an organization's image. A secretary is responsible for presenting the report of the previous meeting, including recommendations that had been tabled ( Doberstein , 2016) . It is also the responsibility of the secretary to decide the members present and the questions to be answered. The event director, who is responsible for making sure conformity with all of the stipulated protocols during the session, chaired the discussion. The meeting program director was also committed to making sure the forum continued as scheduled, and each gave their opinion on the matter. He was also accountable for the suggestion process, which involved stakeholders voting towards and with the most significant number of supporters coming with specified opinions associated with the proposal.

Not u ntil a conclusion is met , all the participants were allowed to give t heir opinions on a specific issue or suggestion. This procedure is essential because some decisions ha d to be re-evaluated later on. Several participants available were delegates from departments who also took part in the decision-making process by sharing their views. The meeting participants were motivated and willing to participate in the convention. At the end of the session, there were snacks where the participant collaborated and shared the suggested ideas further.

My Observations of the Interactions between Members of the Committee

The gathering is a model of shared governance, as each member involved was allowed to take part and their ideas discussed. The judgments, as well as suggestions made, were not based on one person, rather than on the many views expressed by the individuals . As it was a joint decision-making process, the participants present will bear the implications of any decision made. Members were not required to make decisions and support them, but the decisions that were made were due to the opinions tabled during the event. Throughout the meeting, I learned that each employee was accountable for operating the healthcare facility effectively, and the actions of each member of staff were responsible for the quality of the outcomes. Those involved with the healthcare process from elected officials, administrators, and nurses are all involved with healthcare facility-related meetings.

Th e strategy employed on the entire event is defined as a collaborative strategy, which uses a practical approach in ensuring that most of an organization's stakeholders engage in the process of decision making. It allows every participant to share their opinions freely , Which are critical when making the smartest choices because healthcare decisions must be taken carefully ( Doberstein , 2016) . G iven that healthcare delivery services are a vital sector, the impact of the decisions made will affect the lives of both health care workers and American citizens. Since the issues posed included several agencies, collective governance has been the best way to tackle these questions, because the nurses had such a firm understanding of what aspects are best to implement based on their knowledge.
