One of the components of transformational leadership is inspirational motivation and the ability of the leader to inspire confidence. For a leader to have a positive impact on its followers, he/she should inspire confidence, motivation, as well as a sense of purpose. The leader should articulate a clear vision for the group and be able to communicate expectations of all the employees and commit to the established goals ( Boamah, Laschinger, Wong, & Clarke, 2018) . To succeed, the leader should use excellent communication skills and be in a position to convey the required messages with the power and authority required on all the subordinates. The component allows the leader to remain optimistic and positive of the progress that the group makes.
The second component relates to intellectual stimulation and creativity by valuing inventiveness and autonomy from the followers. Leaders can do so by involving them and engaging their views and opinions in the decision-making process ( Boamah, Laschinger, Wong, & Clarke, 2018) . The component is also important as the leader can encourage the efforts of the leaders to be creative as well as innovative, which means they can come up with new solutions to some of the problems that are facing the company ( Ismail, 2018) . Engaging the employees means that the transformational leader can challenge some of the assumptions while also soliciting the ideas of the followers in a positive way that does not criticize them at all. This changes the way that the followers think about the company and the challenges that it faces, which is essential in conveying a clear vision.
