Mathematics is a universal subject that is related to nearly all the other subjects that we learn. This comes in a case where at a given point, various subjects might need to borrow a mathematical concept in expressing out its ideas. This not only shows the relation between the two subjects but also shows its beauty and how essential mathematics is in all that we learn. In this case, we shall major on how mathematics relates to art. From one's overview, one can easily say that there is no way that mathematics is connected to art. In essence, the two are substantially related.
In an art class, students learn about arrangements of elements that make up an image; this corresponds to mathematical rules. For instance, Geometry is a mathematical topic to study shapes in space. It is, however, an essential topic in art drawings as it forms up an ingredient part of the drawing (Robin, 2017) . Geometry comes in whereby drawing is usually an artistic sequence of forms to create a structure, and this structure will require painting, thus bringing in the full relation of art and mathematics. There is also the topic of the Golden Ratio, whereby mathematics is applied in painting. This was used in ancient times by the Romans, painters, and even architects who understood the difference that existed between the creation of chaos and aesthetic work. In painting, there is the use of the golden ratio, which has been proven to be existential by several mathematicians, including Fibonacci. There exists a golden rectangle, golden spiral, golden triangle, and the golden ellipse in painting. Combined, these elements provide a clue on where each part of a painting should be placed so that eventually, the painting becomes appealing to the eye. Also, Leonardo da Vinci proves the importance of mathematics in his drawing of the human body, which he terms to be perfect with dimensions in it. All along, artists have always used dimensions in portraits and any drawings they come up with so that after painting, they may be appealing.

Conclusively, it is evident that the relation is wide and vast. In nearly all activities, there must be a touching or borrowing of mathematical concepts to make a particular drawing be termed as perfect drawing. Precisely, it can be noted that the beauty of art is attributed to mathematics, and this relation can never be broken as it will go down the line from generation to generation from ancient times.
