Nurse leaders must play their roles in the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based practice projects. Even though they vary to the extent that they currently apply these practices and the availability of resources staff collaboration in facilitation and adoption of the evidence-based project. One of the ways this could be made successful is by nurse leaders applying the following.

Ways Leaders Can Provide Support and Guidance

The nurses in management need to create and sustain trust amidst the staff. Trust is essential for the safety of the patients. It only starts with the intention to make everyone believe each other, especially in developing competence and interests in maintaining health practice. According to Cullen et al. (2020), trust makes workers willing to contribute their efforts without expecting rewards, though, with an interest in working towards organization practices. Otherwise, the implementation of such would increase workers' capability by reducing discomfort and uncertainties to organizational changes.

Strategies that Nursing Leaders Can Utilize

The strategy of tapping nurses' knowledge of the system can be utilized. Nurses have established knowledge leading to the strengths and weaknesses of hospital systems of how they work and if they fail (Littlejohns et al., 2020). Guidance and support from the nurse leader's establishment of workarounds or means of getting solutions to dysfunctional or broken systems are essential in engaging the staff in evidence-practice projects. They represent nurse's perspectives on each level and can be integrated into making decisions.

Strategies to Employ in Meeting the Roles

The staff members are actively involved in the change process, especially when concerned with patient safety practices in the organization. The case of HCO, despite the new technologies they implemented, they have a history of ineffective attempts to achieving organizational changes ( Amit-Aharon et al., 2020) . It has been a result of poor implementation, and with models of undertaking change, nurse leaders have been on the front.
