The demonstration of credibility in speech presentation is a critical element that must be proven above a reasonable doubt. Credibility acts as the measure through which the audience dismisses or accepts the speaker’s message. For me to exhibit credibility in my speech, I would have to show a higher level of knowledge relating to the subject matter by providing information which is accurate with quotes, dates, names and facts. I will also show credibility by speaking fluently and quickly this is aided by mastering my material to eliminate problems of getting stuck during the presentation (Boyd, 2010).

The attention and concentration of the audience are likely to be short and this will lead the speaker to lose the audience at certain places during the speech. In order to prevent this event from happening, during my speech I will incorporate “Wow!” factor content in my speech. This will stimulate the audience and make them think and continue learning about the subject.

Creativity in speech delivery may have a long lasting impression on the mind of the audience. Creativity in my speech will be connected with stories that might excite the audience. This story will have to relate to the content matter of subject am presenting. The availability of the internet has enables everyone to have access to materials and different content (Boyd, 2010). It is therefore because of this reason that as a speaker, I will have to do thorough research by understating my audience and the content of the speech I need to pass across. I will also be helped with personal experience and spontaneous humor to connect the relevancy of the topic to the audience needs and interests.

A speech might contain certain points that require emphasis during the presentation. I will employ the technique of repetition to emphasize the point. I will also speak slowly and softly to show the audience this is an important point that needs to be understood (Public Speaking Power, 2013).
