RE: Crime Scene Investigation Report for Mike Jones
I conducted a no knock warrant investigation on the premises of Mike Jones who resides at 2820 Calvin, Cahokia for child pornography on a desk top computer discovered through Charter high speed Internet. Our SMEAC was to look for evidence that would serve as the probable cause Jones’ arrest. Mr. Jones was found in his trailer, which is his home while he was in the business of producing child pornography. I arrived with my team at his residence at 1500hrs and found the unwary suspect naked and typing on his computer where he was busy editing child porn videos. Mr. Jones was informed of the probable cause of his arrest and informed of his rights. The officers then did dumpster diving and discovered an underground office which had minicomputers , and miniframes that served as a bulk storage.
A search was conducted in the trailer and the several items bearing the evidence were found. A list of inventory was made for the items that were seized. They included Jones’ desktop which contained numerous child porn videos, a printer, cable modem, cell phone, child porn DVDs and CDs, 7 thumb drives, 3 digital cameras and a scanner. A back up of the videos was also made. The devices were switched off and the computer components accosted . We used our forensic toolkit for the seizure . Imaging was done and the digital evidence was stored in faraday bags before bagging and tagging .

There was no enough space to prove that porn shooting happened in the trailer. However, there were claims that Jones often had sex with children in the premises. A sweep for trace evidence was therefore conducted and human hair fibers were discovered which prompted the need for secondary warrants .
