A cross functional team is a group of persons with different sets of skills working towards a shared objective. The team can have multiple benefits to a certain course if managed properly ( Love, 2009) . The members complement each other to further their strengths and eliminate their weaknesses ( Love, 2009) . However, problems may arise in the group in cases of conflicts, groupthink and illogical approaches. The video demonstrates how a cross functional team can work and hold towards effective growth of a particular aim.
The video does well to have musical background in its elaboration of the functional team because this does well to keep the listener or viewer rather alert ( Top Quality Consulting, 2013) . The writing in the background is a also a great way of demonstrating the presentation to the viewers. It allows the viewer to both listen in on the presentation and hear it at the same time. However, some of the words written in the background are incorrectly spelt. For instance, the word team is written as “tean” before it is erased and re-written properly.

The video is well organized and properly animated to show the aspects of a functional team. However, some of the chosen aspects are not effective in their course because they do not properly resonate with the purpose of the presentation ( Top Quality Consulting, 2013) . For example, the usage of a hand to show elements of a team does not fully correspond with the purpose of the presentation.
Conclusively, the video is informative as it touches on all areas of a functional team. It provides crucial examples such as the marketing and innovation as being different skills that when brought together can do well to progress and further a particular objective. A cross functional team is important because it enables a business or company to progress. However, it can only do so if it is properly managed.
