I would first take this golden opportunity to say thank you for the chance you offered me in the Crossing the Finish Line Scholarship. Thank you very much for putting a smile and brightening the faces of students like me in whom you believe in. The scholarship means a lot to me, as you have once more ignited the dream which previously I thought impossible. With this opportunity, I feel very privileged to pursue my dream career in visual art designer. I hope to touch other people lives with my artistic talent and empower the young talent who would wish to walk along this career line.

This scholarship comes as a blessing to my family and I as previously I never knew that one day I would be among the luckiest lot to receive this kind of assistance. We are very much grateful for this opportunity as my family was experiencing financial strain as I have older siblings who are pursuing higher education with self-sponsorship. It comes as a relief to the entire family, and I wish to express gratitude on their behalf. The worries and the uncertainties of my future have now got some clarity, and I am now confident about the future. I want to assure you that I am the right candidate for the scholarship as my school work has been exceptional. In my seventh grade, I received art recognition which was a gateway to many art shows and exhibitions which gave me more exposure in my art career.
