Intervention

The proposed intervention relates to a cross-sectional descriptive study on the provision of medication to adults aged 18-64 suffering from mental health illness in South United States. This study is to be undertaken for a duration of one year between February 2019 and February 2020. Also, the research will involve a maximum of 90-100 participants, both male and female aged between 18 to 64 years. Moreover, the setting for this research will be undertaken in the southeast region of Georgia.

Data Collection

Data for this research will be collected via qualitative method. This will involve the employment of a conceptual framework tool, the Phenomenological method, which is to be used for the intervention. This tool will utilize questions about experience that make up life to be used in qualitative data. Besides, other tools to be used are social media, logistic regression and questionnaire. The data is to be collected among adults between 18-64 years. Moreover, the appropriateness of the data collection procedure to be used is to gain an understanding of an individual`s experiences instead of offering a casual explanation for the experiences based on the cultural influences that effect medication adherence.

Data Analysis

In the course of analyzing data collected for the research, participants are to be recruited based on guidelines such as their ethnicity, age, and mental health disorders. Moreover, purposeful or quota sampling will be used in the analysis since this is a criteria which bears the ability to select information from crucial cases which bear a relation to the phenomenon of interest ( Palinkas et al ., 2015). It is also important to note that inferential analysis is to be undertaken in this case. This is based on the idea that it is capable of indicating relationships existent between multiple variables. Besides, they assist in generalizing results as well as predictions (Sauceda, Johnson & Saberi, 2016) . The specific inferential analysis method to be used in this study is regression. It manages to show and predict the nature of relationship between two distinct variables. For example, in this case regression can make it possible to identify cultural influences based on medication adherence of the participants.
