The focus of most delirium studies is on how various educational interventions are effective in medical management. Some of the educational interventions include different prevention practices and earl detection of the patient's condition. However, it needs to assess the risk factors of delirium. Studies indicate that most nurses lack knowledge of delirium risk factors compared to their experience on several other factors (Nidsa et al., 2015). Thus, it is possible that nurses only assess patients quickly due to time limitations, which is a general factor. Nurses lack time with the patients they care for, resulting in confusion and reduced care.
The author's review of the literature strongly contributed to the research problem. The author has selected a secondary source where there is an investigation done. The various studies' outcomes provide a foundation for why nurses are having challenges in detecting and managing delirium. There is articulation in the literature review as the author moves systematically from one author to another. The author's strategy in quoting statistics from other people's research increased the evidence of the argument. The author does not debunk any of the outcomes but shows how the delirium issue is a menace among the nursing professions. The delirium diagnosis requires assessing both the patient's physical and psychological aspects (Grover and Avasthi, 2018). The section's exciting thing is that the nurse's failure to recognize delirium might be due to insufficient knowledge.

One strategy that I have learned that will help me create a vital literature review is the organization of ideas. The review's views are well presented in a manner that they if the flow of the images. Also, in the literature review citing the statistics and outcomes of other people, investigation increased its strength. A thorough review of the literature provides a basis for argument. One can strongly support their point of discussion using other people's work.
