From the title of the article, one can easily deduce that culture is the main talking point of the paper in relation to the Saudi Arabians. Elaborately, from a future professional point of view, it is accurate to stay afloat on cultural issues with regards to nursing. Deducing from the article, culture in terms of the language barrier and traditional or cultural beliefs, play a debilitating role in the dissemination of healthcare as well as in the achievement of desired health outcomes. From the article, the authors model nurses and patients as individuals coming from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. This phenomenon edifies the fact that as a future professional, one needs to be conversant and patient with the culturally diverse patients to avoid misunderstandings and conflicts. Further lessons learned from the article are that, as a professional, one needs to have competence in different cultural skills and interaction to achieve the desired medical outcomes and avoid fatalities through errors. In general terms, other than the foreign legion of nurses practicing in Saudi Arabia, the entire nursing fraternity or industry should be sensitized on culture through the development of educational procedures to achieve an overall cultural proficiency and competency.
