For instance, in the contemporary health care sector, it is easy for employees to form a communication platform in social media that discuses workplace issues (Abbas, Carroll & Richardson, 2018). Social media such as Twitter, and Facebook provide contemporary employees with easier and convenient avenues of discussing work-related issues.

Technology has enabled the digitalization of records in the various healthcare centers. Digitalization of records in healthcare has led to efficiency in service delivery. Reliable record keeping enables healthcare practitioners to keep track of the progress of the various patients. Technology provides for easy retrieval and access of patient's history (Abbas, Carroll & Richardson, 2018). Digitalization of records in the healthcare sector has created operation flow in service delivery. Using technology to manage records in healthcare minimizes the time spent per patient and hence increasing efficiency in delivery. Moreover, technology has also led to the reduction of healthcare cost. The provisions of technology have replaced paperwork and therefore reducing the cost of record keeping.

Provisions of technology such the internet acts as a source of information in researches. Medical practitioners and researchers have relied on technology in their research for updated treatment plans and emerging trends in healthcare delivery (Bidgoli, 2018). Technology provides healthcare employees with instant reference for supporting complicated medical procedures. For instance, technology allows doctors to use video conferencing in monitoring and supervising surgical procedures. In the contemporary healthcare generation, a surgeon can perform surgery by relying on teleconferencing for instructive directions. A doctor in the USA can now organize and supervise a surgical operation being performed at a different geographical location from the comfort of his or her office. Technology has aided in fostering the sharing of knowledge and experience among stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

Technology has also provided better storage options for drugs and procedural equipment that are used in the contemporary healthcare sector. Storage facilities for drugs and procedural specimens is a key factor in evaluating the quality of services offered in a health center. The dispensation of technology provides alternative and flexible methods of storing drugs and specimens (Bidgoli, 2018). Moreover, technical storage facilities have also been a huge motivation behind many medical types of research performed currently. Reliable storage facilities such as refrigerators have enabled the dispensation of healthcare in remote places. Before technological advancements, healthcare operations in remote areas was impossible. However, technology has come with considerable options that ease the dispensation of healthcare in remote places.

Technology has led to the creation of mobile medicine program. The contemporary healthcare sector has led to the emergence of mobile medicine program as a new trend in medical service delivery. Mobile medicine refers to the system of dispensing medical service through the use of the mobile phone (Bidgoli, 2018). Mobile medicine allows patients to access healthcare information and medical prescriptions through a simple click on the phone. The contemporary healthcare sector enjoys the aid of technology in creating patient knowledge about various diseases.

Patient knowledge refers to the disease awareness shared between healthcare providers and patients. For instance, contemporary healthcare has precise knowledge of the diseases that manifest in this era of time. Technology has helped healthcare providers to possess rich knowledge of diseases and various possible treatment plans (Chen, Lughofer & Polikar, 2018). A medical officer would just know that he or she is dealing with diabetes disorder. However, few could have precise details about the diabetes infection such as the type (either A or B), and treatment plans. Technology has provided a reliable scoop of knowledge to contemporary healthcare practitioners.

Technology has facilitated productivity in the healthcare sector by providing a platform for appreciating employers who conform to the expected performance standards. The provisions of technology have created a means of identifying, evaluating and appreciating organizations and sectors that achieve performance standards. The awareness of work ethics and values has contributed to the evident rise in the quality of medical service delivered currently.

How I Would Lobby Financial Support for Technology in Healthcare Sector from Legislatures and The Government

I could lobby financial support from the government through writing an official monetary application form to the government treasury. I would write an appeal for disbarment of funds to the healthcare sector for supporting technological development. I would effectively lobby money from the government by explaining some of the economic benefits that a technologically developed healthcare would have (Gordon & Catalini, 2018). I would show the sense of using technology in healthcare dispensation to the authorities concerned. I would inform the government that it is its role in providing an enabling environment for the performance of service providers. I would convince the government to sponsor technological advancements in healthcare by explaining to the government in its role in providing a good working environment.

I would also lobby for governmental financial support through writing to the budget allocation committees in both upper and lower parliaments. I would make a written explanation of the economic implications that technology adoption in healthcare would have. I would draft an advisory report that details the various loses that are saved by adopting technology in the health sector (Gordon & Catalini, 2018). I would emphatically remind the government on its role of providing quality healthcare to its population. I would persuade the government that technology is what would define quality in healthcare. The action of government sponsoring the adoption of technology in healthcare is a huge step in providing quality healthcare.

How Technological Healthcare Can Be Incorporated in Nursing and Its Application in A Nursing Setting

It is possible to incorporate technological healthcare and nursing practice. Nursing is a stakeholder participant in the delivery of healthcare services. One of the effective approaches to adopting technological healthcare in nursing is through teaching and training of nurses using technological means (Gordon & Catalini, 2018). The exercise of training nurses on their performance should be programmed and adopted technologically. Nurses should be trained on how to perform nursing duties with the aid of the available technological resources.

Another method of adopting technological healthcare in nursing is through the realignment of the nursing curriculum with the emerging technological advancements. The curriculum that is used in equipping nurses with the relevant nursing skills should adopt the technological format. Most of the nursing practices that are to be performed manually should adopt a technological turn (Winter, Stäubert, Aiche, Beyan, Bischoff & de Greiff, 2018). Moreover, technology can be properly incorporated in nursing practice through the creation of computer literacy for the various stakeholders in the nursing profession. Computer literacy is the first sure step in comprehending technological information. Nurses should be have reliable computer literacy to properly comprehend technological trends developing in the nursing practice.

To conclude, the emergence of advanced technological literacy in the 21st century has led to restructuring in the performance of various sectors. Technology has provided a different and easy option of executing roles and responsibilities. Technology has provided a site for referencing in various medical researchers conducted in the contemporary world. Technological advancements in healthcare have resulted in improvement of the quality of service offered. The funds to support technological advancements should be provided by the central government as part of its role in providing quality healthcare.
