Brownell (1991) maintains that although the functional approach is essential as its focus on the enhancing the content of a given presentations, it is necessary to consider the communicative approach. The communicative approach helps in ensuring that the audience engages with the presentation considering that the presentation is in a position to capture the attention of the audience. The use of images and charts in a project presentation allows the audience to create a mental picture regarding the information that is being presented (Medina & Avant, 2015). An effective presentation focuses on attracting the attention of the audience through the use of relevant and appropriate images and animations that captivate the desire of the audience. Additionally, the relevance of information in each slide within the presentation enhances the efficient delivery of a project presentation.
