Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to manage and comprehend your feelings and other people's feelings that are nearby you ( Nightingale, Slade, Sheen & Spiby, 2018). Individuals who have high emotional intellect know what their emotion mean, what they are feeling and how the emotions affect other people.

Communication 

Healthcare leaders must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form ( Ryan, Luz, Albert, Vogel, Normand & Elwyn, 2019). The best leaders must share vulnerable and understandable information and send a clear message to the workers. 

Professionalism 

This is a crucial element for the health care leaders. The leaders should be able to show rather than to tell when it comes to conduct and work ethic. 

Analyze the reasons for health care leaders to develop their emotional intelligence skills 

To practice self- respect. How a leader treats himself matters a lot. This is because it is reflected on the people that he manages. When leaders respect others, and they do not talk disrespectfully at any time. Additionally, demeaning is not the best way to get through the people but treating people the equally in every condition. 

Create a sense of humor. When the leaders are serious all the time, an austere environment is created. Leaders who are emotional intelligence balance everything and people tend to work smart and very hard when there is a sense of humor. 

To shows their emotions and vulnerability. Leaders with passion show their weakness and feelings. However, they bond with their employees on the emotional level. 

Describe each component and explain why it is vital for healthcare leaders to develop their skills in each area. 

Motivation 

The leaders who motivate their employees are the right possessions to their company. Motivation is very important because it increases the employee's satisfaction and productivity. Additionally, it sets a good example ( Frankel & PGCMS, 2019) in this sector the importance of the skills are empowering the employees to take ownership of projects. Support the coworkers who are under stress and providing incentives and rewards for understanding performance. 

Communication 

Communicating effectively with the employees is a very significant responsibility. The reason why it is essential to develop the skills in communication is that it aids in drafting concise and clear materials. It also encourages communication among the employees and maintaining open lines of communication with the workers. 

Professionalism 

Healthcare leaders hold themselves to the highest standards so that their employees can have a clear example of what they endeavor for. Professionalism is essential for healthcare leaders to develop their skills since they can identify solutions that are diplomatic to the issues in the workplace. Additionally, it aids in showing initiative. 

What are your overall impressions of the hospital’s organizational culture? 

My overall imitations of the hospital’s organizational culture are that there are concerns about the excellent care of them in the nursing sector. As an internal variable, the business culture is seen as a means to improve quality of life and care for the people. 

How emotional intelligence promotes teamwork and collaborations in a diverse cultural organization. 

Emotional intelligence can promote teamwork and collaboration in the diverse cultural organization by increasing the employee's unity, performance and the company’s culture ( Taylor, Santiago & Hynes, 2019) ideally; the leaders rebound ideas off to others before deciding on a development path for a project. 

Do you feel teamwork and collaboration are valued at this organization? 

In my opinion, I feel that teamwork and collaboration are valued in this organization because, for an organization to succeed and to work effectively, it must work together and borrow ideas from other people from other organizations.
