Happy employees form the baseline of organizational success. Despite that there are trainings aiming to enlighten business associates and organizations to exercise fair treatment to their workers, most of them still implement horrific working conditions to their staffs. From low ethical standards to reduced wages and violation of human rights, it is worrying that huge companies always take advantage of employees. However, social platforms have eased the way individuals share their work experiences and caution others from these organizations. Staffs from these organizations opt to remain silent as a way of preserving their jobs.
Thesis Statement
Every day workers are subjected to an unsafe working environment, and it limits their ability to perform their duties well. For instance, employees are exposed to broken equipment, lack of protective equipment and even exposed wiring. To reveal this unhealthy working environment, it takes a strong person to raise their concern.

Poor working conditions impact employees engagement, morale and productivity negatively. People working on these conditions are likely to suffer from occupational diseases, and it affects their performance in the workplace. Hence, their productivity is decreased due to horrific working conditions (Aisha, 2015) . Nonetheless, employees feel demotivated to work for organizations which violate their right. As a result, there is a low level of innovation, high error rate, absenteeism as well as poor collaboration with other employees. The workplace environment has shown to contribute significantly towards employees health, productivity, comfort and engagement. With the changing working styles and communication structures, the workplace is needed to accommodate this change and practice fair treatment of their workers.
Sears Company in the United States has for years been reported to sweatshop their labourers. The company has overseas factories and stores where they outsource resources and manufacture new cloth lines. Once it was revealed that one of its constituent factories in Samoa violates the rights of workers, Sears Company kept quiet about the issue failing in their responsibility to protect their employees. In addition, the factory staffs receive their low wages, which are cut at the whim of management (Berman, 2016) . As a result, they are forced to live in the factory as most of them cannot afford to pay monthly rent outside the company. Once they raise the alarm about their treatment, the management responds by cutting off electricity raising temperatures in the factory extremely high.
Based on how the Samoan factories treat their workers, I would rate the company ethical practices as inferior. The rationale being that they do not uphold human rights in all of their factories located in different parts of the world. Employees suffer in silence as the company continues to benefit at their expense (Waheed, 2016) . However, the management must consider having fair working conditions in all their constituent factories.
As part of improving their poor working conditions and employees harassment, the company should implement policies that impose heavy penalties to any staff found guilty of harassing other employees in the workplace (Aisha, 2015) . Such punishment includes termination from employment and even taking legal action to those affected. The senior management should also ensure employees receive their wages on time, and unnecessary deductions should be eliminated. Creating a pleasant working environment is essential in the overall productivity of a company. Therefore, the management should ensure that there is fair treatment of employees to boost their morale, productivity and overall engagement.
