Question One

Nurses contribute directly to the delivery and harnessing of efficient and high-quality care. Through multiple health programs and initiatives, nurses are actively engaged in improving efficiency and quality in addition to healthcare leadership. Nurses set the parameters and standards of how quality healthcare is achieved. Smolowitz, Speakman, Wojnar, Whelan, Ulrich, Hayes, and Wood (2015) add that nurses also play a significant role in controlling healthcare costs through prudent use of resources and payment reform. For example, the quality of work in healthcare is directly attributed to the nursing workforce. All strategies aimed at controlling cost, care, and goal achievement are directly dependent on the nurse's role and engagement within the healthcare sector.

According to Archibald and Barnard (2018) r obotic nurses serve and help undertake simple tasks such as communicating with patients over an interface. National Nurses United (2014) adds that they also take to move around performing tasks such as delivering medicines in addition to acting as an interface. Nurses cannot be replaced directly by robotic nurses due to the intricate details of a nurse's duties and responsibilities. Archibald and Barnard (2018) argue that n urse's roles are multifaceted and very complicated; thus cannot be replaced by robotic nurses directly unless it is under strict guidance.

Question Two

American Nurses Association (ANA) is involved in various advocacies and policies at federal and state levels. These majorly include policies that support and advance nurse's issues and concerns. The last decade has seen increased gun violence within American society. ANA is concerned with the current madness that is gradually promoting hatred and violence, putting to risk healthcare initiatives and plans nationwide. The topic of gun violence is essential as it concerns the emotional and physical aspects of nurse's involvement with the victims and society. Nurses deeply care for those victimized because of gun violence (Gun Violence, 2018). For several years, ANA has urged Congress to pass relevant legislation that will reduce the rates of gun violence and mass shootings. Passage of the legislation that prohibits Centers for disease control (CDC) from studying gun violence will reduce the consequences that nurses face in handling gun violence victims. ANA is committed to addressing hatred and violence to promote healthy living and love among all Americans.
