Emirate airline is one of the airlines that actively participate in the reduction of carbon emission. Emirates Airlines is involved in the 14 project implementation aimed at the reduction of Greenhouse gases emission as it participates in the Clean Development Mechanism Projects ( Dhabi, 2016). The project acts to reduce one million tons of carbon emitted annually. Emirates airline monitors and tracks carbon emission to minimize carbon emission rates ( Barrett, 2019). Emirates invests in renewable energy and the use of nuclear power technology to ensure low carbon emission.
Recycling technology use of alternative energy development and carbon offset proposals are some of the initiatives used by Emirates Airline to achieve the reduction of carbon emission. Biofuel, which is recirculation of already existed carbon, is preferred to fossil fuel, which produces fresh carbon to the atmosphere. The development and use of renewable energy is an alternative energy development way that reduces carbon emission rates (Becken & Mackey, 2017) . Emirates airline engages in the carbon offset programs and carbon reduction projects to neutralize the percentage of carbon produced on a specific journey.

Emirates Airlines largely uses its social media platforms, including websites, twitter, Facebook, and Instagram handles, to pass its viewpoint, responsibility, role, development, and efforts to climate change. Emirates also uses digital systems like radios, televisions, magazines, and newspapers as well as visual boards like billboards, flyers, and posters to communicate to the public ( Ceil, 2019). In my opinion, Emirates is doing well in communication except that they need to add more channels like the use of conferences and seminars with the public to pass the information. Conducting seminars matters a lot to increase communication since most people might not have access to the channels currently being used.
