The world continues to witness a rise in the level of development in the construction industry thanks to new innovative ways of doing things. This has gone a long way in enhancing the development of new stable structures at a much-improved speed than would have been the case in the past when such techniques were still abstract. As a result of this development, the rate of project accomplishment has as well become more feasible. It is, therefore, possible to accomplish huge projects with the anticipated time. While this may have contributed a lot to development, most governments, especially among the growing economies, still struggle to embrace the use of such technologies. Among the reasons leading to this has been the lack of adequate capital owing to the high cost incurred while acquiring such technologies (Oberlender, 2015). At times, it is as well too expensive to hire experts to guarantee the much-needed change. However, this does not imply it is not possible but while learning the significance of investing much in innovation much can still be realized than thought.

While embracing the use of such techniques, most organizations have undergone tremendous change as demonstrated in their strategies. This has as well compelled the adoption of information sharing as a way to guarantee change as opposed to merely relying on the top management to undertake all the critical decisions without ever seeing the need to learn more about the system adopted. Such a process is, however, quite complex than thought also ideal to when well put in place. Among the main advantages derived from it is because it is possible to account for every decision made as compared to the past when it was quite difficult to realize this provision. The use of technology in engineering has, therefore, transformed most professions and as well illustrated by the way new discoveries are now still being recorded (Gbu & Anumba, 2004).

On the other hand, it’s not easy for one to find his way in such professions without ever dedicating their effort towards their career right from when they are enrolled in college to graduation and eventually finding themselves employed. Such a career is as well quite demanding but solely meant to prepare one for any eventuality. This also plays an important role in preparing one in advance to meet the expectation when they find their way into office. At times, the growing level of need has also seen the rise of institutions some of which are not accredited and blamed to have contributed to the rise in incompetence among those found to contravene the need to observe the set ethics while performing their duty in office (Oberlender, 2015). A good example is demonstrated by the growing trend in the construction industry where many projects rarely materialize. There has also been an increased level of most buildings fall once they are constructed and have always taken away innocent lives whenever it happens in other nations.

Conclusion

We can’t go without acknowledging how the rapids changes in the construction industry have transformed our lives but still cannot ignore the current emerging issues which are at times brought about by incompetence as well as corruption just to name a few. There is still need to emphasize more on standardization while still ensuring much effort is applied when reinforcing its adoption across the board. As long as this is realized, the profession is going to continue witnessing a great level of growth and ultimately guarantee the much-anticipated outcome.
