Killing the geese to reserve the coastal habitat of Hudson Bay is doing injustice to the animals. The animals have rights that protect them against aimless killing and hunting. Within the area, there are unique geese that need to be preserved to avoid extinction. Killing them will interfere with such generation of geese ( Who will speak for the geese, 2018). The authorities need to come up with other strategies of relocating the geese in case the coastal habitat of Hudson Bay must be preserved.

Human population growth increases pollution that hampers with the natural environment. As the population grows, litters are dump carelessly. Also, population growth comes with issues such as water and air pollution as industries expand to accommodate population pressures. Moreover, population results to increase innovation among people as people come up with different ways of surviving in the environment. This increases the chances of coming up with ideas that pollute the environment.

The American fossil fuel consumption stands at 80% of the total energy used in the country. Owing to its effect on the environment, the cost of the gasoline and other fossil fuel need to be high to bring down the use of fossil fuel in the country to reduce pollution ( Coady et al., 2017). The use of fossil fuel other than polluting the environment has created a barrier to the use of other forms of energy that are environmentally friendly ( Stern et al., 2016). As a result, the prices of fossil need to be high to reduce the number of users so that people use a clean form of energy to save our environment.

It would be appropriate for the developed countries to persuade the developing countries ethically to control their population growth. This could mean convincing them to adopt different family planning techniques that have succeeded in the developed countries. The ethical way to carry out this act is having conferences with their leaders, and consenting on the same. In case they are threatened and forced into using such methods, it would be unethical.
