The speaker concentrates on the importance of personal responsibility. This is in regards to the level of personal contribution that one holds when it come to climate. The author also illustrates common misconceptions. His work is biased against individuals that bear corporate or large scale responsibility.

Some of the issues raised include the generation of massive amounts of waste that re enters the atmosphere through side processes of clean up like burning. The speaker argues that generating waste can be stopped this saving billions. This will protect environment more than any repairing initiative. The speaker further suggests individual and urgent action so as to ensure that further damage is immediately stopped (Miller, 2014). Legislation and public awareness are also pointed out as influences that determine the extent to which conservation is determined.

Environmental issues have moral and ethical considerations. This is because they affect the overall quality of life and even the life span in some cases. The issues raised are a small part of the moral and ethical standards that could be applied in decision making processes and activities. I agree with the speaker on some aspects of ethical considerations. The most urgent is personal awareness of the situation about actions and consequences (Miller, 2014). This is important as it changes the type of actions that follow each circumstance.

The speaker makes a convincing story because he is able to illustrate the extent to which ignorance can make a bad situation worse. An example is the contribution to the personal carbon footprint by the choice of diet and transport. This can be lowered by good auto care, fuel choice and finally by the actual car choice (Miller, 2014). The type of diet that supports animal husbandry is also a contributor. These two factors were major influences in the individual carbon print and overall climate change.
