Research Approach 

This study will be based on a quantitative research approach. The quantitative research approach entails collecting and analyzing observable data to answer the research questions using computational, statistical, and mathematical techniques. According to Mizumoto & Plonsky (2016), the quantitative research approach is more suitable for the current study than the qualitative approach because the former focuses majorly on non-numerical data while the present study aims to analyze numerical data. By following the qualitative approach, the present study will look at the measurable and mathematical relationship between graduates' salaries from prestigious universities and their counterparts from ordinary colleges. 

The quantitative approach is suitable and was preferred for this study because it will make it easy to test and check the statistical data about the various salaries earned by graduates from different learning institutions. Rahman (2017) states that it guarantees the reliability of the data. The quantitative research method also offers a straightforward analysis, which is suitable for the present study. Besides, the qualitative research method is prestigious, especially whenever complex statistical data is concerned. Hence, it suits all the dimensions of the present study because the central focus is a comparison of statistical information about the difference in salaries of graduates from different universities.
