The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic brought several structural challenges to the aviation industry. However, in collaboration with the government, aviation companies designed adverse programs to cope with the difficulties. In the article, “Pandemic may help Europe’s traffic control tackle structural issues,” the Swiss government provided funds to the Swiss ANSP to improve staffing challenges. The funds received by the Swiss ANSP aimed at training and recruiting new personnel to enhance staffing during the upturns in the organization. Similarly, the book Essentials of Aviation Management discussed a similar approach in developing the management and supervising systems. Due to the difficulties in attracting qualified personnel, companies prefer to bring on entry-level personnel and take them through training programs (Coulby, 2015, p. 145). Besides, both the article and the book puts forward training strategies to keep up with the changing economy, social trends, and the developing technology in the aviation market.

The Swiss administration launched a virtual program that will automate and control airlines independently from the ground site. The virtual center can remotely delegate a whole network and optimize aircraft flow (Dubois, 2021, p. 39). This virtual program will make it easier for the staff to control air traffic efficiently and faster. Understanding such upcoming trends in aviation will keep me up-to-date with recent aviation technology. Therefore, the information available in Aviation Week and Space Technology will help me elevate my aviation career in the future by providing current trends in the technology sector. Understanding the current trends in the aviation industry will help me adapt faster to technology changes.

Artificial intelligence keeps changing at an alarming rate, and it can influence the aviation market and business. In the future, the approved virtual program will improve the supervision and management systems in the aviation industry, making it less complex and efficient. Artificial intelligence will help companies share more data and keep them connected automatically, thus making communication effective in aviation organizations. Furthermore, artificial intelligence will make training programs easily accessible to the staff, improving the aviation industry's workforce in the future.
