The British company, Techfite, will have corporate policies that reflect its culture and ethical viewpoints. Such policies will include employee training and development policy, equality and diversity workplace policy, and rewards, benefits, and expenses policy. These policies are instituted by the company to cater for the benefits of its employees in line with its culture and ethical viewpoints. The employee training and development policies are those that are used as a guideline for directing the process of developing leadership in the company ( Monciardini et al., 2017 ). This is in line with the culture of leadership development that the company embraces. The equality and diversity workplace policy will be useful in guiding the company how to run its workplace collaboration culture since it involves close collaboration between management and its employees. There is also the rewards, benefits and expenses policy that aligns itself with the company’s culture of employee empowerment and engagement ( Roa, 2007).

Ethical issues are related to issues about the welfare of the employees and the local community at large while legal issues are those that are related with matters to do with the law. Legal issues can include aspects such as benefits and wages while ethical issues may entail things such as supporting community events and sponsoring youth leadership development programs. The ethical issues at stake in this company are those that involve conflict of interest where top managers are given excessive bonuses while employees are denied full time benefits to constrained funds. This can also be classified as misuse of resources where money that should be paid for employee benefits is given to top managers in form of excessive bonuses. On whistle blowing the employees begin to complain about their benefits, weekly hours and wages which have been drastically reduced.

Corporate social responsibility is an initiative taken by a company to give back to the local community in which they work in ( Monciardini et al., 2017 ). The company decided to support community initiatives by showing the willingness to sponsor youth development programs and even take part in local community events. It is ethically desirable for the company to improve its image in the community so that it can gain acceptance. Its corporate culture needs to be consistent with its corporate actions with respect to corporate responsibility. It should fulfill its promise of building roads, rebuilding the city of Dellberg and supporting your leadership local programs. The company’s culture and core values should be practiced by taking a course of action that is ethical like living up to its promise of funding local leadership development programs which will empower the local youth. The other socially responsible course of action is to live to its promise of making efforts to rebuild the city of Dellberg which will benefit all the local residents. The company should also be environmentally responsible by using environmentally friendly materials to build roads and infrastructure of the city.

The company will be socially responsible to the local community by rebuilding the town because it will have given back to the community within which it operates. The development of the city will be for the benefit of all local residents whose quality of life will be improved by the development that the company would have initiated. By assisting the jobless youth in the local community to develop through funding leadership development programs, the company will be ethically responsible by minding the welfare of the youths who lacked sponsorship and support to develop themselves. The company would also be environmentally responsible through building roads in the city using environmentally friendly materials. This means that the company will play a great role in conserving the environment of the local area by using materials that will protect the environment.
