Formulation of divine laws in exodus 20, which are the Ten Commandments, was given to Moses by God on mounts Sinai. These laws majorly looked into the relationship and impression made by people on the others. In addition to that, the other part of the law was the majority restricted to the worship of God. Human beings are required to worship and respect God by honoring the Ten Commandments, which forbid adultery, murder, and coveting. The other part of the law is worship one Supreme Being, which is the most fundamental law, as God delivered and led the Jews safely into a promised land from the acreage of oppression. Like the bible, the Quran advocates for equality and condemn the persecution of the helpless in the society, for instance, the Quran supports that no one should kill knowingly unless under some unavoidable circumstances such as self-defense, consequently, the bible advocates that no individual should take the life of a fellow human being.

In some circumstances in the business realm, some influential individuals, such as the government take ownership of other people’s properties without legal consent. Such cases are dishonoring the property right, especially for private property such as IP infringement. Rights guarding intellectual property are infringed when the works protected by IP laws are used, copied or exploiting the products illegally without the proper permission of the rightful owner of the rights. The case of infringement can be termed as stealing because it involves gaining individual property unlawfully. The laws that emanate from both the Quran and the bible suggest that stealing assumes private ownership of property. The book of exodus 20:15 states, “You shall not steal.” This eight commandment implies that taking something g that does not belong to you is not right. On the other hand, the Qur’an 6:152 states, “And come not near the orphan’s property, except to improve it, until he (or she) attains the age of full strength” which advocates that unlawful acquiring o wealth through oppression is wrong.
