Abstract
Ethics is an important aspect in the operation of human beings. Despite the fact that people may hold different values about ethical concepts, it is clear that variation of characters occurs. In this paper, several factors about ethics have been put into consideration. These factors include the valuation of authentic people, assumptions that I make while dealing with others and how they are likely to affect our daily interaction. The impacts of autonomy, self-determination and independence have also been discussed. Finally, it was important to relate how certain ethical codes can enable an individual to solve conflict and socialize with others accordingly.
Ethics Application
Human beings behave in different ways. As such, specific challenges are likely to be experienced. People have to understand each other in order to interact constructively. Some assumptions have to be made while dealing with people. Hence, I assume that other people are equal to me and may have challenges. Additionally, assuming that some people can be slow learners has enabled me to consider the situation whenever we are required to work in syndicates. People in many settings believe that everyone is right whenever a conflict arises (Shonk, 2019). To solve such kind of battles, I assume that one of them is right while the other one is wrong to resolve it amicably.

Certain common behaviors in authentic people include spending a considerable amount of their time alone. They also speak out their minds and associate with people that appreciate them the way they are (Mariani, 2016). Remarkably, authentic people usually speak their mind since they cannot hold it back due to their nature. Self-disclosure determines the extent of one being able to understand their clients. I usually assume that clients try as much as possible to explain their issues in the communication process as they are the ones in a better position to do so.
Besides, I am of the opinion that autonomy should be adhered to unconditionally. I always assume that everyone, be it a client or organizational workers should have self-determination for success. Similarly, the independence of a client should be respected because doing this enables them to be more open. Likewise, I strongly believe that it is better to be assertive than nonassertive. Being assertive would result in better decision making without any external influence. Moreover, assertiveness enables the independence of people to be respected.
Finally, it is essential to understand that humans deserve fairness. People with challenges such as learning difficulties should be handled carefully. In conflict resolution and counseling, I always assume a neutral position. Authentic people are always genuine and rarely tolerate manipulation. People behave differently and consequently, a variety of assumptions can be made depending on the condition at hand. Importantly, human beings are supposed to be treated fairly. More attention is required in conflict resolution.
