Visiting and praying with the sick
As a requirement of the course, we have been required to engage in evangelism projects. My first project, my friend and I decided to visit the hospital. We went to share and help those in the general ward who were not being visited by their close relative and help them. On the day of the visit we carried fruits for the patients and shared with them. We engaged in cleaning activity, and the main focus was on those patients who were helpless.
After cleaning and sharing fruits we shared the gospel from Exodus 23: 25. The aim was to teach the sick that when they serve God, God takes away sickness from them just like he did for the Israelites during the exodus. After finishing the teaching a few people were eager why young people were willing to serve them yet we were not related in any way. “All we are doing is emulating Jesus Christ who showed his love for us on the cross. It is that love that paved the way for us to be redeemed and be acceptable in the kingdom of heaven only if we believed and repented. That overwhelming love is the reason we are here to share with you” I replied.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Cleaning activity in school
The second activity we did in our school and we engaged our classmates. The activity was to engage in cleaning our surrounding environment in our school. As we collected the litter we shared the gospel of with our classmates. Some people wondered why we engaged in such an exercise yet there were people who are assigned the responsibility to clean and collect litter in the school compound.
In response, I and my friend responded by telling them sometimes we should do good to others just like Jesus volunteered to die for our sins. How would you feel if someone came to your rescue in a certain area? that what Jesus did for us and it is because of His overwhelming love that we were saved and in that love that we thought of sharing the gospel with our classmates as we engage in an act of helping other people in the community.
