The fundamentality of understanding the healthcare system when planning an Evidence Based Practice (EBP) implementation cannot be understated. Execution of EPB necessitates the acquisition of numerous resources at the local level. For instance, funding and also human capital. In order to attain the necessary leadership required based on human resources acquired, the level of competence has to be considered (Bonham, Sommerfeld, Willging & Aarons, 2014) . As a result, a clear comprehension of human capital at the local level is necessary. Such may involve adequate healthcare workers, for example, physicians as well as other specialists capable of successfully implementing EBP at the local level. Also, understanding the system structure at the local level is critical since it promotes execution of EBP effectively. 

With the availability of empirical evidence, organizational leadership can be assessed in order to successfully implement EBP. The action further stimulates the availability of some crucial resources, for example, training incentives human resources and funding ( Bonham et al., 2014 ). With a clear discernment of leadership at the local level it becomes easy to determine the willingness to implement EBP. The culture of healthcare also differs depending on the locality. Based on this, it is fundamental to understand the culture at local level. Culture may involve some of the traditions present within the local community whose disruption may deter the execution of EBP.

Involvement of the local community is indeed one of the essential elements of healthcare EBP which is affiliated to understanding the system at the local level. Joining forces with local agencies ensure that any project established runs smoothly. Besides, when the community feels involved, the project ends up being very successful in the long-run since collaboration is fostered and further, good will is perpetuated ascertaining acceptance from community stakeholders. Further, it would be necessary to regulate the environment associated with changing the project. Additionally, understanding healthcare at the local level is important to ensure that healthcare laws regarding the safety of patients are not flouted.
