Providing beyond any reasonable doubt that a criminal act occurred cannot happen in the absence of the gathering of forensic evidence and data that is analyzed to produce a forensic report. The meticulous courts proceeding and scrutiny heavily rely on evidence that can be explained by the third party in the same way that the first party did for the jury to be convinced. The evidence that can influence a jury to decide needs to be airtight and professional analyzed and backed up by criminal investigation experts that a forensic science background where they use numbers to provide factual information on what exactly transpired. High scientific and professional standards are maintained in evaluating a forensic report to be presented to determine a case in the courtroom. 

The mechanisms used to collect forensic evidence or data for analysis have a compelling impact on the accuracy and credibility of the resultant forensic report in determining a case before a court of law. A professional code of conduct and ethics in gathering forensic evidence must be strictly followed to avoid creating any loopholes that might negatively impact the credibility and reliability of information or facts before a court of law. For this reason, forensic data collection, storing, retrieval, and analysis follow an established professional framework guided by pinpoint accuracy in preparing a forensic report. Technology provides an assistive framework to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of analyzing forensic evidence to unearth a crime accurately. Embracing the various technological advancements in forensic science has helped cultivate and enhance a forensic report's recommendations' accuracy and reliability.
