The problem entails the different opinions between the residences of Yellowstone and Yellow national park over the killing and Hazing of Bison. Yellow stone has acted as a tourist attraction center and habitat for Yellow stone dwellers leading to increased pressure on natural resources. The management of Bison has been under the Montana Department of Livestock and National Park services (Clemons & McBeth, 2017). The controversy arose with the introduction of the zero-tolerance policy that led to the shooting and killing of Bosons. The treatment of the Bison by the tourists, tourist cities, Environmental Groups, Montana Department of Livestock, and political parties created controversy since the society perceived Bison’s treatment as inhuman. The application of the questionnaire and the feasibility test will be the perfect criteria. Questions such as, is it possible to kill all the Bison who rambles outside the National Park? Also, is it probable to hunt every Bison regardless of their imperfect roles in captivity? Does ethics apply in the lethal hunting down of the Bison? McBeth and Clemons assert that free-range Bison do not do well in captivity (Clemons & McBeth, 2017). Is it ethical to kill them and capture them outside the parks? The policy alternatives in the case are the fatal slaying of Bison, Allowing of the natural selection to take care of the population of the Bison, hunting down of the Bison and introduction of a more lethal action by enabling the Homeland security to take care of the Bison population (Clemons & McBeth, 2017). All the policies mentioned are vital. Allowing a natural section or weather to take its course on the Bison population is the perfect policy that is viable. Bison also have a place in society since they are part of the natural organisms. The policy was selected because the increased numbers of the Bison means that they are multiplying and needs a habitat to occupy (Clemons & McBeth, 2017). The selection of Bison to migrate outside of the park to avoid contact of Brucellosis, their vaccination and slaughter are some of the wrong policies. Allowing natural selection is, therefore, perfect since the population will decrease and multiply naturally. Female Bison are the vulnerable group who are at high risk of Brucellosis transmission due to the sensitive aspect. Males were at a slight risk of the transmission, according to Clemons and Macbeth. The vaccination of Bison has led to the conflict due to no beneficial change. The allowance of natural selection with perfect scientific monitoring of the spread of Brucellosis will aid the process of realizing a perfect and ethical society that values every living organism (Clemons& McBeth, 2017). Free will is ideal in every society and to every living organism. In the analysis of the case using the five study approach, I found it perfect since it aids in the organization and uniformity of issues and policy alternatives. Problems were arising from the five-step approach such as identification of the real problem and evaluating options, but through keenness, I applied, I am confident this strategy is perfect for case analyses. The five-step approach is, therefore, practical. It allowed for analysis of the alternatives that can be taken by the stakeholders to resolve the issue of Bison in Yellowstone. The identification of the problem was accompanied by the alternative solution, regardless of other issues arising. I liked the five-step approach, and I would use it every day to analyze any cases involving conflicts, alternatives and the need for perfect solutions. I am sure that any keen person would use this story as an ideal procedure for case analysis.
