The main objectives governing the HRM operations include ensuring effective utilization of resources, ensuring employee satisfaction, motivating employee discipline and morals in reflection to the organization’s ethics and maintaining organizational productivity. In a healthcare setting, HRM establishes standards and systematic monitoring that help in ensuring optimal patient care. The organization is determined to ensure a safe environment. The last objective entails evolving professionally through recruiting, developing and retaining quality nurses and providing training platforms as well.

Employee policies and procedures are determined through examination of the employees conduct in the work environment. The organization has established several strategies that are equally distributed by the HR manager to the employees. In most cases, the employee policies and procedures are presented to the employee in form of a handbook, which is expected to be used as a guide on the organization’s information (Wang, 2018). In addition, it contains guidelines on pay, sick time and vacation. Therefore, these policies and procedures are determined through policy statements, application of the policies and examining the reactions towards the application of the defined policies. These guidelines are communicated to the employees through the handbooks which include the policy statements, policy purpose and the policy provisions (Weatherspoon, 2018)

As an HR Generalist, the following are the main qualities that I would consider effective for a sales and marketing role. The sales marketer should be in possession of good observational skills, sales ability, modesty, creativity, adaptability, innovative and have a sense of responsibility. In addition, for a sales and marketing role, the subject should be future-minded, be a tactical thinker and be technologically skillful (Stewart & Brown, 2019). The main role in the organization is to provide quality care to the patients. Therefore, the sales and marketing position requires an individual who is customer concerned and have passion for the assigned role.

Equal employment opportunity laws positively impact our organization by promoting gender diversity. As a result, the organization experiences better equity outcomes as compared with other organizations who are not subject to these laws. Since the laws prohibit workplace discrimination in employment actions, the organization have experienced more innovativeness by presenting equal opportunities to everyone without discrimination (Stewart & Brown, 2019).

The main types of recruitment techniques employed in the organization include internal recruitment, promotion, employee referral, and internships. The organization has been practicing internal recruitment by allowing the employees to apply for open positions in the organization. This has been integrated by promotion, where employees get promoted to open positions, which in return improve their morale in the work environment. Employee referral has been employed severally, where employees refer their skilled and innovative friends to apply for open positions in the organization. Lastly, internships have been employed where graduate students are given chances to obtain valuable work experience after which they are allowed to apply for open positions in the organization.

The main challenges in human resource involve the recruitment and selection where it is challenging to find a suitable candidate for open positions. The other challenge involves maintaining emotional and physical stabilities among the employees. However, I have organized several motivational forums that will help in improving their stabilities in the identified areas.

Job specifications and job description help an organization identify the best skills and qualities that are fit for the described job. In addition, it helps in obtaining skilled personnel who are innovative and creative hence fit for the specified job. The specification and description documents are updated each time a new position is presented. In addition, when changes in a given job are necessary, the respective documents are updated (Wang, 2018).

The organization provides ethics training that helps the employees to cultivate an ethical workplace. The training conducted involves teaching the organization’s values, redefining the organization’s objectives, building mutual integrity and tolerance and trains employees on how to deal with patients especially the complicated ones. Therefore, this helps to create a fair and safe work environment (Weatherspoon, 2018)

In conclusion, the human resource management aims at providing quality services both to the patients and the employees. The HRM ensures effective examination of the employee’s performance, identification of the best skills fit for the positions in the organization monitors the development of staffs and supports the work power executing the necessary strategies to achieve the set objectives.
