Dr. Carolyn Drazinic is one of the most known medical providers in Florida State. Carolyn has had a successful medical career as a psychiatric and a leader. Currently, she is working as a Chief Medical Officer for the Florida State Mental Health Hospitals, a position she deserves based on her contribution to the medical field. Presently, Carolyn Drazinic, the American Health Council recognizes Carolyn as “Best in Medicine” for her outstanding contributions to the medical field. Drazinic is an academic giant in the field of medicine (In Schatzberg et al., 2017) . Dr. Drazinic earned a bachelor’s degree in biological and medical science in 1990. She further went on to earn Doctor of Philosophy degree in molecular genetics and microbiology in 1996 at the University of Florida. In the year 1998, she earned her medical degree from the University Of Florida College Of Medicine. Dr. Drazinic completed an adult psychiatry residency at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, where she was awarded the Laughlin Top Resident Award in 2002. Carolyn would later be certified as psychiatry and forensic psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology ( Drazinic, 2019) . She was later a certified addiction medicine care provider by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. 

Dr. Carolyn has great experience in the medical field. Before advancing to the position of the chief medical officer at State Mental Health Hospitals, she was an associate professor, Dept. of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine where she served for almost three years. Dr. Carolyn also served as a CMO of Psychiatry for Jackson Health System Jackson Memorial Hospital for one year seven months ( Carolyn Drazinic, 2019). She was also a director of the Huntington's disease Program; Medical Director of PHP/IOP Programs at the University of Connecticut Health Center . At this position, she made a lot of outstanding contributions while serving for nine years, which was a stepping stone of her career.

Strengths 

Dr. Carolyn Drazinic is a passionate and committed individual and thus has many doors wide open to advance her career. A successful career in medicine depends on passion and commitment, and Dr. Carolyn has demonstrated that she has these attributes in abundance. 

Dr. Carolyn Drazinic has an exemplary professional experience, and this serves as a significant advantage in the field of medicine. She has over 13 years' experience in great institutions. In each, she had left a mark of excellence. 

Weaknesses 

Dr. Carolyn Drazinic is only committed to psychiatry sector. She has followed a single line and nurse her career, but this close other doors in the medical field and thus act as her weakness. 

There are questions about her cultural sensitivity. There is a post on her LinkedIn page where she posts, "Two black Men." These words have raised a question about her culture and ethnic sensitivity as a medical provider. 

Opportunities 

Dr. Carolyn Drazinic has a great educational background, and this opens her many doors in the field of medicine and health in general. She has a Ph.D. in Psychiatry in addition to numerous academic achievements she has made. These provide opportunities and act as a tool for advancement. 

Dr. Carolyn Drazinic has good reputation and recommendation based on past achievements throughout her career. Through her recommendations, she is in a pole position for more lucrative offers in the medical field ( Drazinic, 2019). 

Threats 

Work overload might be a big obstacle in her career. She had has many duties and a member of many medical groups in the country. The workload threatens her health. 

Maintaining her position, commitment, and work ethics is also a significant challenge in her way. She has been committed and has had culture and ethnic sensitivity; however, maintaining this position is always a challenge. She has to win the war at all cost, which threatens her position and career.
