Dr. Carolyn Drazinic is one of the most known medical providers in Florida State. Carolyn has had a successful medical career as a psychiatric and a leader. Currently, she is working as a Chief Medical Officer for the Florida State Mental Health Hospitals, a position she deserves based on her contribution to the medical field. Presently, Carolyn Drazinic, the American Health Council recognizes Carolyn as “Best in Medicine” for her outstanding contributions to the medical field. Carolyn would later be certified as psychiatry and forensic psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology ( Drazinic, 2019) . She was later a certified addiction medicine care provider by the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Carolyn has great experience in the medical field. Before advancing to the position of the chief medical officer at State Mental Health Hospitals, she was an associate professor, Dept. of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine where she served for almost three years. Dr. Carolyn also served as a CMO of Psychiatry for Jackson Health System Jackson Memorial Hospital for one year seven months ( Carolyn Drazinic, 2019). She was also a director of the Huntington's disease Program; Medical Director of PHP/IOP Programs at the University of Connecticut Health Center . At this position, she made a lot of outstanding contributions while serving for nine years, which was a stepping stone of her career.
