The ability to identify effective solutions to problems, successfully influence others, develop teams, and collaborate are elements that depict me as an innovative, motivated, and passionate leader. Since my high school years, my leadership skills and abilities have been reflected in multiple positions involving different roles and responsibilities. I have worked for more than twenty years in different leadership positions. Among the most important positions through which my leadership ability has been demonstrated is in the public relations manager position. For ten years, I worked as a public relations manager for an international company, and this offered me an opportunity to execute my leadership skills at an international platform. I have been able to effectively lead negotiations and collaborate with partners both at the national and international levels. Currently, I am the antipiracy communication manager in a paid television operator.
As an antipiracy communication manager, my goal is to use my leadership skills to run numerous communication campaigns meant to create awareness and discourage young people against the consumption of pirated content or media. In order to successfully achieve this goal, I intend to collaborate with different partners and form an interdisciplinary team that I will lead towards fighting piracy in the media and entertainment industries. My leadership skills and abilities have continuously grown and improved over the years. Multiple challenges have been encountered along the way, and each one of them has helped improve my leadership skills, especially in the area of communication. Every day, I learn new things through experience and interaction that help enhance my leadership skills and make me a better leader. If awarded, a Chevening scholarship will enable me to realize my leadership goals and contribute to a piracy free world. I have always been an outstanding student, and I am confident that I will not disappoint in academics as well as other areas if given the scholarship.
