I remember during my second-grade graduation ceremony, where one of the guests delivered an inspirational speech that touched everyone. The topic was taking a risk to achieve a specific goal. The speech was a memorable one as it not only transformed me but also left every single individual in that function a changed person. Before that speech, I sued to take things so simple and light. I used to be so scared of failing as I considered it to be an embarrassment to myself. However, all that changed when I heard that speech.

The Memorable aspects of the Speech

The speech was memorable to every audience in that faction as it reflected on the actual aspect of life that every person at one point in life has to go through. It addressed the fear of taking the risk to achieve something greater in life (Pratono, 2018). it made everyone realized that failing is a common occurrence in life and that there is no shame in failing. People need to see failure as a stepping stone towards their success (Petroski, 2018). In other words, the speech motivated the audience to be consistent in what they do as that improves the chances of reaching their goal. The speech also motivated every individual to be passionate in whatever they do. Being passionate implies being consistent and also taking the risk.

Efficiency of the Speech

The efficiency of the speech was that it changed the perspective of everyone who was in that ceremony. People were inspired to change their mentality in addressing life aspects. They realized that there is nothing wrong with being persistent in what they do as it defines their passion. After the speech, everyone developed a passion for whatever they do. They became consistent and never again felt the need to be afraid to take risks in whatever they do as long as they keep their focus on the objective of the activity.
