It is the process by which water circles between the water bodies, atmosphere, and land. It includes precipitation to form rain, flood into streams at that point back to seas where it evaporates and condense later to form rain.

Groundwater would evaporate faster because the water is shallow and can be heated easily.

By transpiration. The air moisture content around the plant is reduced thus increasing the rate of transpiration to maintain equilibrium.

Heavy deforestation leads to an area becoming dry and consequently losses rainfall because there would be no transpiration that would contribute to air moisture that normally condenses to form rainfall

Experiment 1 

Time it took for moisture to collect in the jars and the one that was first 

I did not observe moisture in the chilled water jar, and it took 30 seconds for moisture to form on the first jar that had hot water and 10 minutes for the jar containing water at room temperature.

If rain was observed in any jar and if it was not observed why or why not 

Within no time, rain like water droplets could be seen dropping from the bottom of the lid that covered the jar that was filled with hot tap water.

The part of the planet (Earth) that the jar takes after 

Hot water jar mimics the water body like a dam that must be heated by the sun to cause evaporation. A dam is small in size and sometimes lacks the outlet and therefore easily heated.

The jar with the room temperature mimics large body masses like the lake that are not easily heated by the sun and therefore only the surface of the water is heated.

The jar containing chilled water mimics water masses in colder parts of the globe like the Antarctic and arctic.

Effect of condensation and evaporation on this experiment 

The hot water from the tap evaporates to cool down the water. In the event, it causes moisture that that fills the jar. The lid covering the jar have low temperature because of the ice in them. This ice cools down the moisture leading to condensation that forms water droplets.

Experiment 2:

Report of the experiment as observedt. 

For at least 2hrs, there were no much changes to the three bags. However, the bag containing 2 cups of water poured into the soil so many water droplets. Nevertheless, the bag with that had 1 cup had fewer water droplets.

After the second two hours, there was a record increase in water droplets in the watered soil bags. The water one cup bag had increased moisture content. The leafy twigs in the third bag had some moisture soil in spite of no water that was being poured into the soil.

Past six hours, the bag put on the leafy part of the living plant had dampness.

Past eight hours, the soil in the bag that has one cup of water poured had started to dry up. The soil in the bag that has two cups containing water was changing color. The bag that tied on the leaves of a living plant was full of moisture.

Relate this experiment to drought condition. 

The dampness in the bags of soil demonstrates that dry spell drives out the moisture substance of soil. To add to that, moisture in the bag of covering leaves of a living plant demonstrates that plants lose a ton of water amid dry spell.

What if the ambient temperature was increased or decreased what would be observed? 

An expansion in surrounding temperature would diminish the time taken for the soil and the plant to lose dampness in this too much moisture formed after a brief timeframe. Also, the soil will evaporate after a brief timeframe. On the contrary, a decrease in ambient temperature will lead to increase the time for formation of moisture in the bag.

Comparison of what I found in the twig bag and why or why not it was so 

There was some moisture in the twigs bag and they had started to turn brown in color. The leaves of the living tree had a lot of water droplets and they look healthier.

There was little moisture in the twig bag and started turning brown. The living tree leaves bag had more water droplets and the leaves looked healthier. The thing that matters was because of the way that twig had no water supply and was bound to die after it was denied of any outstanding moisture. Then again, the living leaves have a constant supply of water and were compelled to discharge some so as to stay healthy. This was normal from the beginning.

Explanation on how to set up terrarium on the below account(condensation, runoff, evaporation, precipitation percolation and infiltration) 

For evaporation, I would place water into the terrarium and place heat top of the water surface close to the surface of the water. This will guarantee that the surface of the water is heated to cause it to evaporate. For condensation, I would fill the glass holder half full with heated water tap and place ice on the top covering the terrarium. This will guarantee that any moisture is condensed back to water. The set up for precipitation with being same as that of condensation. This is on the grounds that precipitation is because of condensation.

For run off, I would put some soil (2 cups) into the container and include water until the point that it floods. For infiltration, I will half fill the terrarium with soil and include water in little portion and wait as the water is absorbed into the soil. Ultimately, I would put exceptionally dry and had bit of clay in the terrarium and include water. The water will constrain itself into any breaks to show percolation. .
