Coming up with a good mission may sometimes prove to be challenging, below are some of the elements that make up good missions and visions. I’m currently working for Herzing University. The vision of the educational institution is to have a lifelong partnership with its students, employers, and community. As for the mission, the university states that it aims at providing high quality educational to the students, that will enable them to be marketable to the employers. The school has also stated that it hopes to provide an education that will help the students grow intellectually and shape their personalities.

I find the vision of this educational institution very effective. The mission and vision of the company are very clear; to provide a good education to the students. The school has also used a positive language ( Mirvis Googins, & Kinnicutt, 2010) . For instance, the school states that after the students go through the school they will be marketable to the employees. Finally, the vision and mission of the school are very realistic and possible to achieve.
