As a student, I am always faced with the daunting task of balancing between work and school. At my age, I am expected to work so that I can meet my various financial demands such as rent, food, and clothing among others. On the other hand, I am expected to attend school so that I can become an enlightened member of the society and also to gain more knowledge and expertise in readiness for employment. Balancing the two is sometimes an uphill task. However, time is a great mediator and helps to create a perfect balance between the two. One way that time helps to mediate between the two is through school holidays. It is not all the time that we are in school as occasionally we break for holidays. During holidays, one has a lot of time to concentrate on work and make more money. Thus, holidays help to create a balance between work and school. In addition, during weekends, one is free from school engagements and therefore, one can spend more time working and generating more money. Also, one is entitled to off days at work and this creates more time that one can use to further their education thus making it possible to mediate between work and education.
In summary, balancing work and education is sometimes difficult as each of them demands a lot of concentration and effort. However, thanks to the idea of time, one is able to strike balance between the two. Weekends and school holidays avail more time that one can use to work and generate more income. On the other hand, off days at work create more time that one can use to concentrate on education. Therefore, time is an invaluable resource that helps to create a balance between education and work.
