Being an opinion seeker is one of my strengths in a group. I have an interest in knowing and understanding group values. When seeking for opinion, I am not much into accuracy of the presented information. What matters to me are the values surrounding the different opinions made in a group. I am more concerned on how the values in any group I am involved in are applied in solving problems. When a solution to a problem is identified, I seek for clarification on whether the identified solution aligns with the group’s values. I am also good at seeking information. I focus on ensuring the information presented in the group is correct and relevant. I seek for clarification of the proposals presented based on adequacy in facts and the facts relevant to the problem that is being solved.
Besides seeking information and opinion, I am also good at being a group’s recorder. I do well in writing down suggestions, decisions made and the outcomes of a discussion. I can record large amounts of notes/information in order to help the groups I am involved in understand the processes applied in making decisions. I have the ability to quickly transcribe notes into formal minutes for the group’s reference. I am also a clarifier. I seek for clarification by checking out what was said by another person through asking a question or restating the person’s statement.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
However, there are areas that I identified that require me to improve on. Initiating, coordinating, and summarizing. The ability to summarize can complement my recording ability. I at times find it challenging to draw together related ideas or give decisions even after being the one who was recording. Therefore, this is an area that I need to work on together with the ability to propose ideas and bring them together. The improvements will be achieved by studying on how to develop the skills that require improvement and implement strategies that help develop and enhance the skills.
