The relationship that people will have with nature in the future will differ from the present. The world will institute environmental sustainability goals that will facilitate in the conservation of natural resources while at the same time establishing substitute power sources. Individuals will also ensure to minimize harm and pollution to the environment. The future of environmental sustainability measured in 50, 100, and 1,000 years will serve as the principle guide. Numerous projects will prevail targeting environmental sustainability that will focus on wetlands preservation, rainforests replanting, and safeguarding natural areas from harvesting of resources. The approaches reveal the distinct ways in which the society will cope with the natural phenomena affecting life in the world (Rinkesh, 2019) . The paper depicts a future in which the world will have attained environmental sustainability.

Biodiversity and ecosystems will focus on safeguarding the endangered species to facilitate in balancing the ecosystem. Conserving endangered species will also be essential for humans as well. A well-balanced ecosystem will focus on purifying the environment providing healthy water systems that will support various marine life, clean breathing air, and arable agricultural production land. It will also offer unique plants that will avail medicinal properties that serve as the basis of the medicines people will use. Health risks will reduce since saving the endangered species will translating to humans saving themselves. Furthermore, good urbanization will contribute to efforts for improving biodiversity and ecosystems. Cities will encourage individuals to opt to have less children, while increased income by urbanites working in towns will allow people to focus on conserving nature as opposed to destroying it (Weustink, 2019) . When the society follows these initiatives, it will be possible to realize unimaginable progress, which the previous conservationists’ generation would not.

The future agricultural production will play an essential role in meeting the textile and food needs without compromising the capacity of future generations in meeting their individual requirements. It will influence compositing with the practice of sustainable agriculture focusing on realizing economic profitability, healthy environment, and economic and social equity. All parties participating in the food system, including food processors, growers, retailers, distributors, waste managers, and consumers, will ensure to support a sustainable agricultural system. For instance, growers will utilize strategies for improving health of the soil, reduce use of water, and minimize levels of pollution on farms (Agricultural Sustainability Institute, 2019) . The retailers and consumers will ensure that farmers grow their foods by adopting approaches that support farmworker wellbeing, which will be friendly to the environment.

The management of water resources today will differ from the ones of the future, particularly when it comes to floods. The prevention methods and adoption of new technologies will supplement the prevailing natural water resources, minimize demand, and realize increased efficiency to meet the rising demands for the existing water resources. Meeting the present and future demands for water will require increasing attention to precautionary measures, including innovative utilization of new technologies and natural supplies, including floods. During the previous years, the society would preserve water by ensuring to utilize reservoirs for storing runoff and diverting water from abundant resources to scarce ones. The approaches offer sufficient water when required while they would contribute toward future water resource management approaches (GreenFacts, 2019) . For the future, it will be vital to have regulations and laws, which will offer a way forward for safeguarding and restoring water resources.

The future means of meeting the future needs for energy, it will be possible to maintain a habitable climate and atmosphere. For instance, the Paris Agreement offered an era of an international approach toward climate change. It instituted targets for minimizing greenhouse gas emissions with energy access serving as a key area of concern. The need for access to affordable and contemporary energy revolves around the influence it has toward the society. In realizing the transition, to sustainable energy, it will be crucial to support initiatives, including technology transfer and capacity building. Additionally, nations will need to include renewable energy plans to asset in attracting the funding required for instituting them (UNFCC, 2019) . These sustainable efforts will contribute to a habitable environment and atmosphere for the future.

Management of waste in the future will differ from the current society despite serving as among the major challenges facing the world presently, with the world generating bulky and smelly waste in unimaginable quantities. In coping with these issues in the future, the world will require having a waste management approach that will ensure to remain efficient in diverse aspects, such as energy efficiency, waste treatment volumes, and utilization of robotics technology as opposed to individuals who develop illnesses that result from the emitted pollutants. Additionally, the use of biodegradable plastic together with the adoption of automated systems of collecting waste will address the future management efforts of the future (World Bank, 2018) . These strategies will ensure that the society remains free from pollution while at the same time contributing to its overall health wellbeing.

In conclusion, for human beings to attain environmental sustainability on a global scale future, it will be crucial to overcome key social, economic, political, and ecological choices and tradeoffs. Socially, it will be vital to ensure that people understand various societal benefits that the initiatives will offer. Economically, it will be essential to offer vital financial support to the initiatives aimed at realizing environmental sustainability through portraying the economic benefits that the move would provide. Politically, involving diverse political actors in the efforts will boost the success of the undertaking. Ecologically, the world will need to start introducing the environmental conservation measures today to make sure that society will manage to cope with the growing climate and atmospheric concerns of the future.
