Individual must come together to identify common challenges or goals, mobilize resources, implement and develop strategies for accomplishing the objectives they need to accomplish. The relationship is always essential in developing change. Thus, the process is often overlooked to gain an understanding of the community. It is essential to learn and understand what the community is like, and essential aspects to its residents. Community organization is a significant aspect in empowering individuals to improve their lives, which leads to power shift. Developing relationships within the community help in structuring a power base among broad groups of individuals. The collective voice of most people working mutually on a given problem is much more influential compared to a single voice (Gilchrist, 2009). The three approaches used in organizing community include social action, community building, and loyalty development. Social action presumes the existence of an underprivileged segment of the population that should be organized to make orders on the broader community while community relationships focus on strengthening the economic and social context of communities. Finally, Ledwith (2011) argues that locality development engages a wide range of critical shareholders in developing the community.
