Pirates of globalization refer to a situation whereby people violate the intellectual property principles by acquiring the works done by someone else and manipulating it for their personal or commercial gain. These issues are rampant in the black market, and worrying enough the violation cases are on a steady rise over the recent past. According to Catherine Holahan, 7% of the all activities entailing money in the globe represent pirated goods and property (Ingram , 2014) . Due to the rampant cases reported in the world concerning the stolen work and art, many countries came up with intellectual property laws. These laws enhance the protection of private work hence giving people a sense of security in their work James (Popham, 2011) . Most of the rules mentioned above, get threatened by technological advancements. For instance, the establishment of the cyber world which has led to free transmission of information hence easy accessory of the data by different people. In other words, people may be able to obtain any information that does not belong to them. The following entails some of the things when done and adhered to can enhance protection of intellectual properties. 

Protection of Intellectual properties 

The following relates to some activities that enhance the upholding of private properties. They include: First, create time and opportunities to learn and gain knowledge on intellectual property. Educating oneself on how to come up with personal ideologies can enhance the reduction of pirating other individual’s ideas (Ingram, 2014). Second, doing your work reduces the cost incurred when trying to access someone else work. For example, individuals go even to the extent of bribing just for then to gain from another person’s work. Lastly, international business communities should also encourage people to patent what entails other people and not just what benefits them as individuals. The activity mentioned earlier enhances the prevention of piracy since it leaves no room for one to interfere with the other person’s work. 

International companies thrive due to the support gained from the recent markets that come up based on already existing ideologies. These companies are able to leverage on the already existing market that meets their demands for services and opportunities. For instance, the Gucci Company refers to designing industry which acted as a platform for other companies that borrowed the same idea hence producing counterfeit products. Some of the international businesses invest in these fake products to enhance more gaining of profit. The surplus funds gained prevent these big companies from speaking out against these counterfeiting businesses. 

So much progress has been created to help in managing and reducing the violation of the intellectual properties rights. New technologies have led to the improvement of private property rights. For instance, technology has come up with internet sites that detect stolen or borrowed work such as Turnitin which detect plagiarism. These sites ensure that people do their job and learn to appreciate other persons’ work. The generation of such creations as barcodes and QR-codes have come in effectively to fill the glaring gaps that exit in the market and the protection f the patent rights. 

Tiffany refers to a high-end jewelry company while eBay entails websites that enhance advertisement of products and selling sites( Rachel Metz, 2009).Some sellers posted counterfeit goods of Tiffany’s original goods hence the complaint taken to court. The case acts as an extreme caution and warning to people who carry out infringement on other people’s businesses. The eBay company won the case, but Tiffany still appeals to the court to restudy the case. The counterfeit trade refers to a crime that contains punishment by law. For instance, the court can shut down the business, and the people involved jailed.
