In future, children with a history of sexual assault should not be placed in the same homes as persons considered being sex offenders as they are likely to provoke trauma in the children. Children with a history of sexual assault should be raised in stable homes. The advantage that comes with raising such children in stable homes is that the children are taught to trust people again and judge the world from a loving and understanding perspective. Moreover, raising children with a history of sexual assault away from sexual offenders reduces the risk they face as this can be categorized as a risk factor. |
