Health Resource and Service Administration is an agency of the department of health and human services which is tasked with the responsibility of improving healthcare especially to individuals who are geographically isolated and vulnerable both economically and medically. Its programs are designed to assist patients in need of quality primary health care, pregnant women, mothers and those living with HIV/AIDS. It also supports pieces of training for healthcare professionals in addition to distributing providers to areas where their services are needed most. The agency oversees activities like cord blood, bone marrow, and organ donation. Similarly, it is responsible for compensating people harmed by vaccination while maintaining a database of healthcare malpractices, abuse, waste, and fraud. 

According to data from HRSA fact sheet, Nevada has a population of 2,798,636 with a median household income of $51,847. It also has a low-income population of 193,753. Clark, on the other hand, has a population of 2,035,572 and a median household income of $51,575. The low-income population in Clark is 143,176. The low-income population is the population in the households who earn less than two times the poverty level of the U.S. The above data was based on the U.S Census ACS data as of 10/19/2017. In the 2017 financial year, Nevada Health Center Program was funded to the tune of $20,798,945 having 7 distinct grantees and grants. The figure is quite different for Clark which received $4,284,024 having 4 distinct grantees and grants.

Nevada did not have any funding for related programs like the Health Center Controlled Networks, Native Hawaiian health care, and training and technical assistance. Clark County also did not receive any funding for the program or any other under the related Programs. Nevada, however, had financing for State and Regional Care Association to the tune of $659,556 where one distinct grantee and distinct grants were involved. The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program that focuses on organizations that provide care and treatment to people living with HIV from low-income communities and are uninsured supported over a million clients in Nevada with a budget of $18,547,042 in five distinct grantees and 7 grants. Clark, on the other hand, received $6,917,214 in the financial year and had three distinct grantees and grants (HRSA, 2017). 

The National Health Service Corps had a budget of $1,821,471 in Arizona with 39 total awards which can be broken down into 37 loan repayments and 2 for the scholarship. Clark, on the other hand, had a budget of $1,016,905 having a total of 13 awards broken as follows; 11 loan repayment and 2 scholarships (HRSA, 2017). 

Arizona, on the other hand, has a population of 6,641,928 and a median household income of $50,255. The low-income population in 2017 was 498,903. The Health Center Program had a budget of $78,823,203 in 21 distinct grantees and grants. Arizona also received financing for State and Regional Care Association to the tune of $1,400,981 where one distinct grantee and distinct grants were involved. In total, Arizona had $2,150,981 for related programs. The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program that focuses on organizations that provide care and treatment to people living with HIV from low-income communities and are uninsured supported over a million clients in Arizona with a budget of $22,311,771 in five distinct grantees and grants (HRSA, 2017). 

The National Health Service Corps had a budget of $8,265,049 in Arizona with 199 total awards which can be broken down into 185 loan repayments, 8 for scholarship and 6 for the students to service their loan repayment. 

The data warehouse offers a reference point where nurses can compare data for different states and counties. The warehouse provides an invaluable resource to the professionals in their quest for knowledge and programs supporting the marginalized and the vulnerable people in the society.
