Part 1

The study was made qualitative in nature due to various designs that were applied that suggest use of qualitative data. For instance, the use of research questions suggests that the nature f the study was qualitative; the study also used the sample sizes from hospital which show a qualitative nature approach. The effective data collection methods were also used in determining the extent of technology used in improving health care provision via language interpretation (Masland, 2010).

The information from the study is important as it enables fast service provision via use of different technologies and interpretation which helps the service providers effective. The study will be beneficial to many other agencies such as the government, donors, and also the technologist who will be also to develop more effective technologies for the same function (Masland, 2010).

A lot can be done in enhancing the study such as ensuring there is more government support and also support from foundations which will enable all health care givers provide these services. Further, quantitative research should be added to promote the study result (Masland, 2010).

Part 2

Quality improvement initiatives are important to any health care provider. It is an important aspect as it endures there is satisfaction from both the patients and nurses or other hospital staff. Quality services however are able to be achieved via adequate quantitative research which enable the providers identify areas of improvement. For instance, in case where there are challenges with communication between patients and staff or vice versa effective quantitative research is gathered to identify to which extent is the problem and address appropriately. 

The differences between the two are that the quality of improvement is dependent upon the quantitative research. That is the quantitative research precedes the quality improvement initiatives and seeks to address areas where gaps exist in the systems. 

The difference between the two in terms of confidentiality of data, patients’ consents and human rights protection is that the qualitative research allows assures the research samples of confidentiality and asks for their consents before data is collected. The aspect of human rights is on the other side provided by the quality improvement initiatives.
